KMG762

18” Machine Gun

Türkiye's First NATO Specs Qualifed 7.62mmx51 Infantry Machine Gun

The KMG762 machine gun is a 7.62x51mm NATO chambered variant, developed for enhanced stopping power based on the field-proven design features of the KMG556 model. Sharing significant design commonalities with the KMG556, it provides the operator with seamless operational familiarity and optimized handling ergonomics.

Developed entirely through KALEKALIP’s own equity, proprietary design, and indigenous engineering resources, the KMG762 has demonstrated its high reliability by successfully completing rigorous NATO MIL-STD testing processes. This system aims to consolidate superior firepower with long-endurance portability within a single platform. Its weight advantage over equivalent 7.62x51mm machine gun platforms enables the user to deliver controlled and precise fire from both a prone position and from the shoulder while standing or on the move.

Thanks to its versatile design, the machine gun can be effectively deployed not only by infantry units but also through integration into armored vehicle turret systems. Exhibiting superior durability in the most demanding climatic and terrain conditions, the system is optimized for uninterrupted mission execution during high-intensity operational tempos. Its exceptional service life and Quick-Change Barrel (QCB) guarantee operational continuity during prolonged engagement scenarios. The KMG762 directly addresses the dynamics of the modern battlefield by delivering the infantry’s essential firepower needs within a lightweight platform.
